Personalized diet, cardio, training and supplement plan.
For 2009 and 2010 you will get 6 months for this price. For the next 6 months I will update and make changes as needed according to how your body responds. Typically I rely on your feedback or pictures to keep you on track at burning fat and moving forward. I will respond promptly to your email questions and consult with you as often as you need. This is a great plan for those may want to compete in the future or just want to walk around looking like they can compete and win!! |

Contest Prep Email me for price quote as each prep is different based on the amount of time I work with a person and type of show they are doing. (Men, women, figure, naturals, bikini, national or local level competition) I can work with you from the off season all the way up to the show, from start to finish. Or I can just work your 16 week prep… You don’t have to do any of the planning or thinking. I will plan out all the details of the prep from beginning to contest day. Typically at 16 weeks out, I assess you through pictures and get your diet, cardio, training and supplement plan going. We will keep in touch as often as needed. My goal will be to get you on stage as lean and as conditioned as possible while holding onto all your hard earned muscle. The final weeks of prep can be stressful and there is no need for the competitor to have added stress at this point. Let me take over and do all the planning, I have done preps for more people than I can remember including 15 of my own contests. My diet is typically a high protein, moderate carb, low fat diet. I like advocating a longer slower approach type prep in order to burn less muscle and get the skin as tight as possible. For bodybuilders, my goal is to have you more conditioned than ever. For figure competitors, my goal is to have you conditioned enough with the right proportions and stage presence to stand out in the crowd. Bikini girls need the right amount of condition and stage presence. |

I had been working with Jim this season for this years Masters Nationals and the NPC Pacific USA. Jim worked hard taking home 1st place wins in both the mens masters class and the open light heavyweight class.
He took first places in both classes unanimously and lost a close overall to the Heavyweight in the show. I am very proud of Jim’s showing and he is very happy too. Jim is from Idaho and made the trip down to Los Angeles the day prior but his condition held up real good.
We plan to continue with the prep and compete at the Tournament of Champions in September. We will be working this off season and on some shows for next year.

by admin on Jul.26, 2010, under Blog
This is Brian Hancock who placed 3rd in the Middleweights at the 2010 Teen Natioanls.
Im really proud of the effort Brain put into this in working with me. Brian had a huge obstacle of weight, over 40lbs from start to finish but in the end.. Brian was deservingly proud! im happy to be his coach
I came in 3rd place out of 9.. out of what i was told was the most competitive (well atleast biggest class) of the teens. I owe you so much man. I followed it to a ‘t’ and the results speak for themselves. If you go back and look at a shot of me 16 weeks or even a year ago when we started… i am a whole different person!! thanks for everything bro, it felt so good to be able to feel like i belonged on stage.
I got 3 photoshoots with bodybuilding internet sites AND musclemag international magazine photographer came and grabbed me for a photoshoot in between prejudge and night show, he said he loved my physique. so again.. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.

The Secret to Success
by admin on Jul.16, 2010, under Blog
If there is such a thing as a secret to success, it would definitely include hard work, patience, consistency, and time.
For those that have known me for a while, those people can tell you that I’ve always had a passion for the gym. It did not always mean that I looked like a bodybuilder or that I ever even intended on competing.
I got into working out regularly after a bad back injury that left me in lots of pain, out of work, and little to look forward to for many months as I worked towards my recovery. During this time, I watched my weight continue to increase while my energy decreased.
I just woke up one day and decided to throw out all the excuses and just put it in my mind that I could get the weight off and get back into decent shape. That was over 10 years ago and I’m still going strong!

My diet and training philosophy
by admin on Jul.13, 2010, under Blog
History:
I have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology and two California Teaching Credentials. I am a national level bodybuilder with class wins at the USA and 2 class wins at the Los Angeles Championships. I stay in contest shape all year long.
Philosophy of diet and training:
I advocate a moderate to high carb diet along with high protein and low fat. Carbs are used for energy and I believe to burn fat and get ripped you need to have the energy to train hard to strip the fat off your body.
Once all the fat is stripped off most of the torso, then the fat starts to strip from the glutes, hamstrings, upper thighs and back.
I believe the only way to compete is to be conditioned to the fullest. To walk on stage, dry, hard, grainy and super shredded.

John is 43 years old and approaching the 3 week mark of his prep. Standing 5’10″ and 241 lbs, hes a force to reckon with. I started working with John earlier in the year and the prep has gone smooth and steady..
Johns last big win was at the NPC Pittsburgh were he took the Super Heavyweight class. Our plan is make some serious noise at the Masters Nationals then move on to the NPC North Americans later this year. John’s condition and muscle maturity is mind blowing!!

50 and still going strong

This is John Fitzpatrick. He turns 50 this year. I did his prep for the Lehigh Valley Bodybuilding Championship where he placed 2nd. John was a standout with his condition no doubt. He was about the hardest and most ripped guy in the show.
I will be helping John this off season and we are planning a prep for next year.. Our off season plan is to pack some good lean muscle on, go back and crush the show next year.
He will also be competing at the Masters Nationals soon.

Jan Nordlund took the overall in bodybuilding at the NPC San Diego Championships on March 20th.
45 year old Nordlund started working with me earlier in the year in preparing for the show.
It all payed off as he was announced overall winner in front of a sellout San Diego Crowd.
There were over 250 competitors in the show.
This was a huge win for both of us!

Dusty takes it all at the Border States!
by admin on Oct.30, 2008, under Featured Competitors
He grabbed the overall title at the NPC Border States Championships. Dusty, 27 years old, competing in his 2nd ever BBing contest, took first in the super heavyweight class and the overall.
Dusty, an Arizona native contacted me about 20 weeks before the contest. I worked on his diet and prep starting 16 weeks out. This was done all through emails and pictures. I met Dusty for the first time at the show itself where Dusty looked incredible.
Dusty dropped close to 50lbs for this contest. It sure didn’t show, as Dusty was conditioned hard and very complete.
Our plan is work together for his next contest. He will be a much improved version of this years physique. Having successfully worked with Dusty already now, I’m convinced I can get him in condition like no other. This was one of the most successful preps yet!!

2008 update
by admin on Jul.12, 2008, under Blog
I have been keeping myself super busy as my prep and nutrition consultation work has really grown. People are contacting me every day and Im currently helping about 15 athletes and competitors. And things are not slowing down, just getting started. I see many of these competitors doing very well in their upcoming shows.
I had been contacted by a Muscletech representative earlier this month about a supplement sponsorship contract. Muscletech is probably the largest supplement company out there.
I was flown to Canada and signed a contract for this year which includes supplements and a full paid sponsorship to compete at the NPC nationals in Atlanta in November. This is really exciting for me!! …and can lead to other things with this company hopefully.
In November I did a photo shoot and video for Iron Man Magazine and a new bodybuilding magazine called MUSCLE NEWS used 9 photos of me for their first issue and paid me for each photo used.
I am also working on a solid and productive off season in which I can benefit come contest time in November. I am currently at a bodyweight of 175lbs at 5’4″ and about 10% bodyfat. Come contest time I should be right on the money to compete as a solid welterweight with condition I am known for.
My wife is super busy as well with her full time job and being a mom. She is also a major bodybuilding photographer as she and her business partner Bill Comstock shoot all of Jon Lindsay’s bodybuilding shows here in California. I attend all the shows with her as her assistant and offer help to the competitors.
I have also been keeping myself super busy with my full time job as an Adapted P.E teacher and helping my wife in raising our two and a half year old daughter Alexis.
Many things are going on in my life. I am very busy but the busier I am, the more I get done. Keep an eye on my rapidly growing athletes section of this site.
Chris Fox
by admin on Jun.30, 2008, under Blog
Chris Fox worked with me this 2008 bodybuilding season and finished 1st and 2nd at two regional NPC national qualifiers. He took his condition and overall physique to a whole new level.
He plans to continue to work on his physique by following my off season diet and nutritional guidance and step back on stage with added size and thickness. I am looking forward to working with Chris and see him on stage in 2009.

I am prepping Chris Fox for this years Mike Francois Classic on May 10th. Chris came to me for help this off season after seeing pics from my prep for the nationals. Chris has always lacked the super conditioned look. With my help he appears to be ahead of schedule for this yeasrs show. Chris is soon to have the condition he has always strived for. Chris can be reached at patriotpride55@hotmail.com

2007 – 2 weeks out
by admin on Nov.12, 2007, under Blog
Two weeks from today I will stepping on stage in Dallas, Texas with some of the best amateur bodybuilders in the nation.
The very first blog – 2007
by admin on Jul.12, 2007, under Blog
I first stepped on a national level stage in 2005 under the watchful eye and expertise of IFBB Pro Tom Prince. With Tom’s guidance and advise, I stood to learn a lot. Thank you Tom for helping me realize my potential.
Getting ready for a show goes beyond the 16 week pre-contest diet. It is something that you work constantly at, year-round, year in and year out.
I have learned over the years what works and what does not work for me. One of the biggest changes to how I approach preparing for a show now revolves around keeping my off-season bodyweight within 10 to 15 lbs of my stage weight.
I’ve tried the bulking up method and I’ve tried staying within a limited weight range. The latter seems to fit the bill better for my physique.
My USA Experience
by admin on Aug.05, 2006, under Blog
2006 was a fantastic year for me and my family. It was a time that my wife and I were enjoying being new parents to our little daughter. It was a time when we felt things were moving ahead for us at such an incredible pace, it was difficult to believe how right everything felt.
It was also the time I felt I could start to work harder to put together a physique to be proud of. The USAs was that time for me, and it felt great. I only hope to continue to be better in every respect. I’m having a blast and feel as if I never want it to end.
I dedicate my win to my wife and daughter who could not make it to Vegas to watch me onstage that day!
